DAY 1 - Depart
the USA on your flight to Madrid. Arrive in Madrid. Transfer to
hotel
DAY 2 - EXCURSION TO ESCORIAL AND VALLEY OF THE FALLEN - Visit the
incredible "Valley
of the Fallen", Spain's impressive monument to the civil
war. Then we continue to the magnificent Escorial
Palace where we have a guided visit of the richly decorated
apartments and tombs of many of the Spanish monarchs.

DAY 3 - MADRID
- CORDOBA
- SEVILLE Excursion to historic Cordoba, the most perfectly preserved
Moorish city, where our guided walking tour shows us this fascinating
city including the magnificent "Mesquita", an 8th century mosque
which is considered to be one of the finest monuments built by the
Moors during their occupation of Spain. Overnight in Seville
DAY 4 - MORNING SIGHTSEEING OF SEVILLE
- Morning city tour visiting the Cathedral, the largest gothic building
in the world, the Barrio de Santa Cruz with a panoramic sightseeing
of the city. Afternoon at leisure.
DAY 5 - SEVILLE - COSTA
DEL SOL
DAY 6 - COSTA DEL SOL AT LEISURE
DAY 7 - COSTA DEL SOL - MALAGA
- GRANADA Overnight Granada
DAY 8 - SIGHTSEEING OF GRANADA
- Breakfast and departure through the plains of La Mancha towards
the region of Andalucia. Arrival to Granada. Lunch. In the afternoon
visit of the impressive Alhambra Palace and the Gardens of Generalife.
This spectacular residence of the Moorish Kings is an extraordinary
fantasy of patios, arches, gardens and fountains.
DAY 9 - GRANADA - TOLEDO
- MADRID - Departure to Toledo. Visit of the city, considered as
a National Monument. The town's setting is as extraordinary as its
sights. Tour the Catedral and Church of St. Tome with a masterpiece
painting by El Greco. Overnight Madrid

DAY 10 - FULL
DAY SIGHTSEEING MADRID
- Sightseeing tour of Madrid through the most important avenues
and monuments. Visit the magnificent Royal Palace, the Plaza Mayor
and the renowned Prado Museum, sample one of the city's fine restaurants
and perhaps enjoy a flamenco show.
DAY 11 - DEPART FOR HOME - Transfer to the airport and departure
on your flight back home. |
