Day 1 Depart USA
Day 2 Arrive in Rome at the Fiumicino airport.
Meet English speaking driver and start an unforgettable
honeymoon in style by being driven in a private car to the
heart of the Tuscan countryside, to Hotel Pallazzo Mannaioni.
This ancient building has been carefully restored to its
former splendor, retaining much of its historical charm
but without forgetting all the necessary modern comforts
and amenities. It is located in the small medieval town
of Montaione, 12 miles from San Gimignano, 30 miles from
Siena and 70 miles from Florence. Check in and overnight
for three nights at Hotel Palazzo Mannaioni. |

Day 3 American buffet breakfast in hotel. After
breakfast, depart by private car and driver to visit the
picturesque town of San Gimignano, then on to Siena. On
the way, ask your driver to stop at a local wine cellar
and try some of the wonderful Chianties, both reds and whites.

Day 4 American buffet breakfast in hotel. After
breakfast, start your private gourmet cooking lesson held
in the hotel and personally directed by the expert chef,
who speaks English. This way, both will learn the art of
making exceptional Italian pasta and other traditional dishes.

Day 5 American buffet breakfast in hotel. After
breakfast, transfer to Florence on your own. Ask the reception
for a taxi to Castelfiorentino and then take the train to
Florence. Once in the Florence Santa Maria Novella train
station, take a taxi to Hotel Alba (three star, centrally
located) and check in for four nights. Remainder of the
day at leisure. Overnight at Hotel Alba Florence. |

Day 9 Continental buffet breakfast in hotel.
After breakfast, transfer to Venice. Ask the reception to
call a taxi for you to go to Santa Maria Novella train station
and board train to Venice, Santa Lucia train station. Reserved
for you are two first-class-fast-train tickets. At Santa
Lucia station, you will be met by an assistant at the head
of the train track, holding a sign with your name written
on it, who will give you some useful information, assist
you with the luggage and check in at Hotel Sofitel for 2
nights. The hotel is on the other side of the canal, about
600 meters away from the station. Rest of day at leisure.

Day 10 American buffet breakfast in hotel. Day

Day 11 American buffet breakfast in hotel. Ask
concierge to call Trasbagagli porters to take luggage to
Santa Lucia train station. Board train from Venice to Roma
Terminal station. Reserved for you are two first-class-fast-train
tickets. At Termini station take a taxi to hotel Marcella
(three stars, not far from Via Veneto) and check in for
two nights. The hotel is walking distance from many of the
famous sights in Rome, the Spanish Steps, Navona Square,
Trevi Fountain, etc. Overnight at Hotel Marcella.
Day 12 Continental buffet breakfast in hotel.

Day 13 Depart For 2-day tour of Pompeii and
Capri. The tour leaves Rome at 9:00 and heads towards Naples,
then on to Pompeii, where you stop to visit the excavations
of the Ancient Roman City. Continue on to Sorrento, famous
for the Limoncello, and embark on the ferryboat for the
Island of Capri. Transfer to hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 14 Continental buffet breakfast in hotel.
Weather permitting, visit the Blue Grotto in Capri, later
in the morning visit the piazzetta. Lunch is included at
a local restaurant. In the afternoon, transfer to the harbor
to embark on the ferryboat for Sorfento, where the coach
will be waiting to return to Rome. Return to Hotel Marcella
in Rome and check in for three nights. Tonight, you will
find entrance tickets to the Papal Audience waiting for
you at the hotel. Overnight at Hotel Marcella. |

Day 15 Continental buffet breakfast in hotel.
At 9:45, ask reception to call a taxi to take you to the
Vatican for the Papal Audience. It is not possible to visit
Saint Peter’s Basilica during the Papal Audience, if it
is held in the square. Remainder of day at leisure. Overnight
at Hotel Marcella.
Day 16 Continental buffet breakfast in hotel.
Day at Leisure. Overnight at Hotel Marcella.
Day 17 Continental buffet breakfast in hotel.
Meet car and driver at hotel lobby, time TBA. Transfer to
Fiumicino airport for departure. Flight TBA. |
